As you can see, I still have to work out some kinks in taking photos with the N95. The camera has the ability to take landscape and portrait. And you can switch around the LCD orientation. So, wasn't paying attention, snapped a photo, and is this how it uploaded to flickr!
There are two ways you can upload the flickr.
The N95 has "services" in the web browser - and there was an option for Flickr. I added my Flickr userid/pw - but it failed. so, I added another instance - and it failed. Then I tried to delete the accounts and did not find a way to do that ... I tried three times with my texting - and it didn't work. I'm pretty sure there was not a typo. I tested both the Flickr login and the Yahoo login. Both failed.
So, did a little research and found in the Flickr Faq:
To hook into Flickr from your device, you need to use a Nokia-specific username and password combination, which is different from your Flickr sign in.
Then it says: Grab the login information by checking on Step 3 of the configuration page: Create a New Account.
I checked the version of the software and here were the instructions. I tested it and it works just fine.
I also added my flickr email upload email address and tested sending it via an attached email. It worked. Be warned that it doesn't tell you whether or not the upload was successful.
I need to read the Flickr/Nokia FAQ to see what else is possible. I also need to figure out if there is any relative advantage to using one method versus the other.
