Discovery Asia and mobile communications provider Nokia are looking to reinvent the concept of filmmaking by providing mobile phone users everywhere with access to knowledge and technology of a new genre – mobile filmmaking.
The companies have partnered to launch the Mobile First Time Filmmakers Contest 2005, which will give consumers the opportunity to try their hand at mobile filmmaking and qualify to win a prize of $10,000. People in Cambodia are eligible to participate in this content, although you probably have to already own the phone. Read more here.
