I successfully installed Khmer Unicode and Mekhala .8 (Khmer localized version of Firefox) (definitely need a t-shirt of the logo). I've also installed the keyboard driver, but not sure if I was successful because I don't see the ca or en icon -- oh have to do some more set up stuff in the control panel. I've printed out a layout of the keyboard until I figure out if my khmer/qwerty keyboard is compatible. Next, I'll study up on How To Type Khmer Unicode. From there, I will start to blog in khmer. Since my khmer is very very very basic, I will probably just begin with learning to type consonants and vowels and a few simple words. I want to see if there are connections to any of the us-based keyboard curriculum.
