At Craigslists Foundation Nonprofit Bootcamp, I ran into Ramya Raghavan, Youtube's Nonprofits and Activism Manager who was speaking on a panel called Future Tech. She talked about their new initiative Video Volunteers and offered some great tips about effective nonprofit videos.

I did find an interesting fact about YouTube at the PRville conference; I learned that YouTube has 40% of the market. I never thought about it before, but when I look for or issue videos I only go through YouTube, next time I am going to try to find where that other 60% is as well.

I love this. Some folks can simply provide more value by volunteering their expertise in the online arena. I know many people that are much more likely to participate in this program than travel somewhere to volunteer.
