The Netsquared Net Tuesday meetup in Houston tonight is holding a canned food drive to support the End Hunger Network.
Tomorrow, I'll speaking at The Boston Social Media Breakfast. It will include a food drive to support The Greater Boston Food Bank - appropriate given that the theme is social media for social good. The other presenters include:
- Gradon Tripp - social media and design aficionado, and founder of SM4SC
- Frank Days - soccer dad, social media gadfly, and COO of Firstgiving.
The breakfast is sponsored by FirstGiving and Marketwire.
Thanks for the shout out Beth! @happykatie @deneyterrio and @magsmac have done an awesome job running Net2 Houston this year. Tonight will be fun!

just added your blog to my RSS today (via Buzz Bin), and you're already in my head because amazingly enough, I'm on my way to a food drive organized by twitter users/self-described "geeks who give" in Philly.
I won't include the link for fear of coming off as a spammer. Looking forward to reading more of your prescient posts.

Hey Beth- This month, instead of a normal Net2ThinkTank question, NetSquared is asking people to check out the GiveList and blog ideas for giving to their blog or the NetSquared blog, or post about them on Twitter with the hashtag #givelist. Great to see people coming together to give when we are all also thinking about the tough economic times.
Thanks!
