Dr. Mani is a heart surgeon in India - and Web 2.0 expert. His passion is using the Internet to raise money to provide free heart surgery for young children in India who would otherwise not be able to afford this life saving medical care. On September 12, he will spend 24 hours tweeting about his cause to help raise awareness. He's calling it a "Tweet-a-thon" He has raised over $7,000 so far. I will be interested to see how this idea is executed and how to walk the line between inspiring people and annoying them ... I can't wait to read Dr. Mani's lessons learned.
