That's a widget I just created using Sproutbuilder, a new product form the creators of ChipIn. According to Jason Ricci, Chief Product Officer,
Sprout is a concept that grew out of our work at Chipin - and we definitely haven't lost our nonprofit roots..look for more fun functionality geared towards nonprofits in the future. For now, you and all your readers can use the link below to get a Sprout Beta account....and if you hve any ideas for nonprofit specific features please feel free to send us feedback - we read and respond to each and every one.

Peter Dietz offers his observations here. Peter wondered about the ability to incorporate a chipin payment widget linked to other providers and how it may integrate with Facebook Causes.
Marshall over Read/Write Web had this rave in his review:
It is going to explode the world of widgets on the web. This is far and away my favorite product I've seen at DEMO, not just this year but ever in the three years I've attended. Limited beta accounts are available to RWW readers via http://www.sproutbuilder.com/readwriteweb The product is a drag-and-drop Flash authoring tool built on Adobe's Flex. SproutBuilder lets you build very sophisticated, multi-page widgets with media, analytics and more. In minutes. With ease.
Here's Mashable and TechCrunch had to say. Here's the demo on YouTube.
You can use this flash editor to create your own custom widget for fund raising - adding multimedia content. Think about the possibilities -- a spreadable multimedia story about why your cause is important and link to donate or to get more information. Then have your supporters spread it. Or have them sign up for a sprout account and remix it.
My widget is sort of lame because I'm tired right now ... but really it was so easy to do. With a little planning out of your content, it could be really powerful.
Deborah Finn from Lolnptech notes, "They're organically grown!"
Christine Egger of Goodallaround gives it a great review and suggests that one might use these instead of a web site.
Thanks for the link, Beth. I'm still thinking about how Sprouts could have the potential to really transform the way we think about websites. Like they can suddenly open little franchises...

Beth,
Thanks for the kind words. I really hope that people find ways to use Sprout to enrich online social organizing and advocacy. Even though we built in the ChipIn component for fundraising I believe there is more that can be done. It will be the creative minds within the npo sector that will find the ways. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments. Please tell us how we can make Sprout a better product for you!
Oh yeh.. we are also hiring. http://sproutbuilder.com/jobs
