David Geilhufe was really proud of his barcamp badge. I've known David Geilhufe since the dude ranch in Montana Ebase days in 2002. It was sort of barcamp-like retreat in wilds of Montana not to far from Yellow Stone.
David Geilhufe emailed me to let me know he has started a new job at NetSuite to create a philanthropy program for the company. He is launching a pilot program to donate NetSuite software and NetSuite employee volunteer assistance to charities and for-profit firms that generate positive social impact.
They will be accepting applications from January 21 to March 21, with awards made on a rolling basis.
To learn more, download their guidelines or apply online at the company's web site.
Thanks for this Beth, good stuff. Also, did you catch the NYTimes article yesterday, "Google Offers A Map For Its Philanthropy?" http://tinyurl.com/yskt6v
And hey...Shaping Youth made the semifinals of the fellowship program at Echoing Green!!! woohoo! :-)
