Meet Wanna. Wanna Kahn is a Cambodian college student studying engineering in Vietnam.
Wanna was one of the first Cambodian bloggers to leave a comment on my
blog and we have gotten to know each other through flickr and our blogs. I've know Wanna virtually for over three years. Here's our first voice conversation back in 2005. Wanna also helped me with my first tooth fairy assignment -- he made a voice recording of the word "tooth" in Khmer.
We've never met face-to-face (yet). At one point, I helped Wanna purchase a domain (can't quite remember the circumstance) but he didn't have a credit card and needed a domain, so I got if for him.
He's working on his thesis and a little stressed ... any advice to offer him?
Meanwhile, I am so proud that he put the Sharing Foundation's America's Giving Challenge widget on his blog. I didn't even ask him .. I didn't want to distract him from his thesis. I know that if he had credit card he would donate, but putting the widget on his blog is worth millions to me. Thank you Wanna.
- If you haven't already, donate $10 or more to the Sharing Foundation through Global Giving Fundraiser set up by Blogger Michele Martin of the Bamboo project!
- If we are four of the top causes to get the most unique donors, we'll win $50,000 for the Sharing Foundation as part of America's Giving Challenge. With $10 and 10 minutes of your time you can help improve the lives of over 1,500 children in one of the world's poorest countries.

UPDATE:
I got an email from Wanna that said "Hi Beth, I've successfully delivered by thesis to the school. Let's party now :)"
My voice seems much different to the last three years :)
