Thank you, Beth, for helping us at TechSoup spread the word about the security breach at Convio and its impact on our members.

Unfortunately, TechSoup was one of 92 nonprofits who had some of their members' information stolen in the break-in at Convio. Thankfully, no financial or credit card information was being stored or was stolen in this incident. TechSoup contacted all affected email subscribers, and we continue to work closely with Convio to keep our members updated.

Beth--I wanted to share my recent comment on the Non-Profit Tech Blog about the Convio security breach with you. Thanks. Felicia

The National Park Conservation Association is a Convio/GetActive client and we were one of the organizations whose data was breached. NPCA is committed to full disclosure. The very day we learned of the breach we posted a press release to our site and sent our affected supporters an email notification. We also included a notice to affected subscribers in the November issue of our online newsletter Park Lines.

Our release “National Parks Conservation Association Alerts Online Members of Vendor's Security Breach” is online here:

We value our online supporters and their trust. We take this breach seriously and are continuing to work on this issue.
