Hi Beth, thanks for visiting my new blog and being the first to comment there.

We also trying to do a Skype conference call for a client meeting - two of us on Skype and one on a landline; all three in the UK. The sound was awful, it kept cutting out, it was very faint. In the end, we gave up and I did a three way conf call via my landline.

It was hugely disappointing and frustrating. I know many consultants use Skype and they've just launched Skype Pro for businesses. They really need to get their act together if they want to keep its customers.

They provide Free Conference Calls. You can use SKYPE to call in for free or you can use a regular telephone. Using a reqular phone may result in long distance charges.

Just popped over to high-speed conferencing. Looks like there are no free plans . . . their minimum monthly fee to host a call is $25. Am I missing something?

They also have a pay as you go plan with per minute charges on Skype.
