Robert Thompson, an American musician who
lives in China, went out and bought a water buffalo and
presented it to a poor family in China. He documented it on film several versions are available, including a higher quality quicktime - The Water Buffalo Movie. It is a terrific example of story telling and use of video as tool to support a personal fundraising campaign.
Hit tip to Donor Power Blog who puts it all into context and summarizes blogosphere reaction, although I first noticed the clip in at the bottem of this post.
Hi Beth - I blogged about Robert's astonishingly powerful video in the context of storytelling.
