Beth -- Thanks for commenting on our blog. I would love to talk any time. I agree with the perspective about the arts. I spent the evening chatting with Evelyn Rodriguez who said she has a friend who is an artist. Her friend does not want to write. She wants to show her work, talk about it.

I have hope that the new breed of widgets will make expression more accessiblle to communities that see the promise of these technologies and how they can be used as mediums for their perspectives.

My goodness. You brought back a fine memory of a great conversation in D.C.

I've never owned a TiVo, but I do have similar, but competing, product line called ReplayTV.

Unfortunately the line was virtually sued out of existance--but I still have networked ReplayTVs that "a ct" as a single unit, can be programmed over the Internet, and perhaps best of all allow for easy download of content to a laptop for long and boring flights.

It is technology I remain passionate about because of how they changed the way I plan my life.

Thanks for your post back to my new blog and your quotes of my widget remarks. I look forward to seeing you face to face again soon.
