Last week while I busy trying to shoot a scene for an upcoming screencast, I forgot to turn off my SKYPE. And, of course, I got pinged while I was taping (darn, I had to reshoot the whole thing). But the person on the other end was Teresa Crawford and I hadn't talked to her in over a year. She wasn't interested in catching up, rather she was testing a Skype set up for a co-worker. She also offered to help me test my video camera hook-up to Skype.
Anyway, now you don't have to wait for Teresa to Skype you to hear her . Listen to her podcast over at InterAction.
Teresa speaks to InterAction about demystifying Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) and social networking tools or "social web," and offers examples of how advocacy organizations are effectively using these technologies in the field.
BTW, we never did get to test the video connection. If anyone uses one of the logitech cameras with Skype and can help me, you'd make my day!
