Meet Marc Canter
I'm not sure if we are related or not. Both our Kanter/Canter last names came from Russia. Marc told me that he owns the domain name canter.com which is devoted to the family history of all Canters, Kanters, Cantors, or Kantors ... I learned that the Canters came from Russia but immigrated to England first, not to the US like the Kanters did. The Canter name was originally Canterosky, but had to be shortened. The Brit translation changed the spelling to be like the city of Canterbury. There's lots of famous Canters -- Eddie Canter, Canter's Deli in LA, etc.
Why did you come to blogher? It's my wife's 40th birthday so it was my birthday present to her. Her blog is lisa.blogs.it
This is a hypothetical question. If we got married, would you want me to: a) change my name from kanter to canter 2) keep my maiden name or 3) hypenate Kanter-Canter? I'd let you do what you would want to do.
What's it like to be a man at blogher? The industry isn't about all white males and I apologize for having a penis!
