I wonder if the fascination of trains by 3-6 year old little boys in the US is global? I always thought the Khmer version of Thomas might be translated into a boat until I discovered the Bamboo Choo Choo.
We plan to visit Cambodia with the children in 2007. So, I'm collecting information to help plan this trip. I want to go off the beaten track, but safe places. We've wanted to visit Kampot since we saw it on a Globetrekker and in the film, City of Ghosts. The NY Times recently published an article in its travel section: In Cambodia, Sleepy Kampot Slowly Reawakens. There is also a collection of articles about traveling to Cambodiaand I also just added a link list to this blog and will add the bookmarks to my delicious account.
