Meet Elvis: Unofficial Doorman at Mother's in New Olreans

Landed in New Orleans for NTEN's NTC Conference and have been finishing up some last minute details for the Day of Service.  In about an hour, Cheryl Hanback and I will meet folks in the lobby and go out for the traditional Night Before the Day of Service.

Laura Crochet, the local partner from LANO,  took me for Po Boy at Mother's.  Elvis, the doorman, told me get the shrimp po boy.

I also heard a rumor that there is some special sprout bling buttons in the NTC conference bags and two are signed - if you get the signed one - you could win $1,000.

I love these Utterz. But I'll point out there's something weird in the blog reader (bloglines). Last time it was Billy Idol, this time the Utterz is "What is a Gang?"

Bread is magical stuff, the banquettes in New Orleans to make Po Boys are like nowhere else.

Speaking of Utterz weirdness... the one in my google reader is "Barack talks Race and Politics..."

Enjoy the day of service!!!

Glad you got to eat. Today, when I saw you in the lobby running the Day of Service I imagined that you have been too busy to do anything else.

I am counting you to blog every session, so don't let me down. And I want to see the pimp hat.

I am eating a Mother's sandwich right now and am looking forward to joining all of our NTC friends in experiencing more of the sensory pleasures of New Orleans.
