Oovoo is a new desktop video service. (Marshall Kirkpatrick has a review here). What caught my eye was the special event that is taking place called "My ooVoo Day With" where you can sign up for a video chat with a well-known blogger. The company is sponsoring the Frozen Pea Fund as a way to thank the bloggers, although a couple are using their appearances to raise money for other charities. For example, Irina Slutsky is supporting Pie Ranch and David Meerman Scott is supporting the Massachusetts Air & Space Museum. (I signed up for a slot with Pistachio who will be offering some tips for improving your presentations.
