Interactive Activism: Stop Genocide Now

I'm trying to clear the decks before I take off a few days.  I just got an email from Stop Genocide Now alerting me that they're sending two citizen journalists back to the Chad/Darfur border for 14 consecutive days of reports starting Dec 21, 2006.  They will file text, video, and photographic reports.  You can follow the reports on their blog.  The video above is from their trip last year and gives you a taste of what to expect.

Beth, thank you for posting this. Gabriel is a good friend and awesome inter-activist, sparking the entire Camp Darfur movement with his passion to stop this genocide. I only wish there were more success to report, but four of the five camps Gabriel visited last year are now gone. This is a very grave time in history for the Fur tribe and others from Darfur and Chad now threatened...not to mention the hundreds of aid workers killed or forced to leave!

Thanks for this, Beth. I'm going to post about it on NetSquared. Happy Holidays!
