Frapper Groups
My colleague Michelle Murrain discovered Frappr which allows anyone to put themselves on a map using Google APIs. She challenged her Nptech friends to think about how this might be used.
So, of course, I had to set one up for myself. One immediate use that came to mind is that if you had a distributed work group (based in US) that was working together, you could have people add photos and brief intro to the map. People could reference the page to visually see the group and get a reminder of time zones. It makes me think of the clock technique that Nancy White taught me during the recent online facilitator's workshop.
Other ideas?

What about for national advocacy groups and membership organizations to map their member orgs and affiliates?

I'm using it as a campaign tool for a Governor's race I'm working on in Connecticut.
